ABOUT KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

                           Principal I

         Knights of Columbus Elementary School is a complete elementary school located in Sitio Knights of Columbus Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City. It has a lot area of 4, 259 sq. m. It is four and  half kilometers away from the division office. The school is located at the city proper.
              It has seven academic classrooms, one principal’s office, stage, handwashing facilities, CR and covered court. The school was established CY 2011. It is headed by a Principal I. It has 1,264 pupils and 26 teachers. 1 of them is a volunteer kinder teacher, 25 nationally funded teachers having 4 Kindergarten classes and 23 regular classes from Grades I to VI. There are two administrative aide who maintain the cleanliness of the school premises, paid by the City Government and MOOE. The school has adopted the two –shifting classes from Kinder to Grade 6. Due to the limited classrooms, 15 classes utilized the 8 makeshift rooms as their classroom it was located at the covered court, hallways and under the stairs.
                  In terms of academic and non – academic performance the school was not behind. Recently the school won 2nd place in the Division English Camp Story Telling Category and 2nd Place in Declamation Category, 2nd Place in the Division Press Conference in Editorial Writing (Filipino), 12th Place in Feature Writing (Filipino), 14th Place in Copy Reading (Filipino), 2nd Place in the Division Level and 3rd Place in the District Level of “Masining na Pagkukwento” during the Buwan ng Wika Contest, 3rd place in the On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest during the Nutrition Month Celebration, 2nd Place in the District Level of That’s My KAB 2014. 
                   The school programs & projects were made possible as we work hand-in-hand with the GPTA Officers, Assumption Antipolo, Private Group of people, NGO’s and GO’s as well as the other stakeholders.
